Our GroupThere are five Ramblers’ groups in Dorset. Most of the members of the East Dorset Group of the Ramblers live in the towns of Bournemouth, Poole or Christchurch or the areas administered by East Dorset and Purbeck Councils. | |||||||||

We put on several walks a week of various lengths between 5 and 20 miles in addition to our annual treks over a long weekend. We do what we can to maintain the footpaths used by all walkers by sending out regular footpath clearing parties and by keeping an eye on local plans to divert or close footpaths or open new ones. Prospective and new members are always welcome on walks. You may join up to two Ramblers’ Walks while deciding whether to join the Ramblers. Join the Ramblers. | |||||||||
